Web Platform Manager

Moderne is seeking an experienced and data-driven Web Platform Manager to own the strategy, performance, and day-to-day operations of our core web properties, including managing Moderne (Webflow) and helping support our Docs portals (docs.moderne.io, docs.openrewrite.org).

This role is critical for driving marketing conversions, maintaining seamless integration across our martech stack, and ensuring a world-class user experience for both prospects and developers. You will be the technical lead for all things web, balancing rapid content execution with strategic initiatives like conversion rate optimization (CRO) and site migration.

Web Platform Management & Operations:

‍

• Own the day-to-day management of Moderne (Webflow) and our Docs portals, including publishing pages/blogs, building new templates, maintaining navigation, redirects, and ensuring high uptime.
• Manage a clear web roadmap and backlog, prioritizing tasks based on business impact and technical debt.
• Partner closely with Marketing and Product Marketing (PMM) to execute product launches, use cases, events, and case studies, meeting a defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) for execution.
• Support and execute the technical requirements for a website migration from Webflow to WordPress.

Performance, CRO, and UX Leadership:

• Lead initiatives for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and site performance, including A/B testing, form optimization, and improving Core Web Vitals and page speed.
• Ensure the site adheres to accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for schema/structured data and SEO.
• Steward the UX of docs.moderne.io & docs.openrewrite.org, focusing on information architecture (IA), versioning, search relevance, developer journeys, and findability from the main site.

• 4–6+ years of hands-on experience managing B2B SaaS websites, with significant time spent managing both Webflow and WordPress environments.
• Deep, hands-on expertise with GTM/GA4, including event mapping, conversion tracking, and comprehensive UTM management.
• Solid working knowledge of martech integration points: Salesforce/Pardot form handlers, webhooks/Zapier, and privacy/consent tools.
• Strong front-end skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Demonstrated experience with Core Web Vitals, accessibility (WCAG) standards, and implementing schema/SEO best practices.
• Proven experience running A/B tests (e.g., CrazyEgg, VWO, Optimizely) and utilizing data to drive CRO improvements.
• Familiarity with developer documentation platforms (e.g., Docusaurus, Docsify, ReadMe), search tools (e.g., Algolia, DocSearch), and docs publication pipelines.
