Moderne is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Partnerships to establish and grow its strategic partner ecosystem. Reporting directly to the CEO, Jonathan Schneider, this leader will define and execute Moderne’s partnership strategy, building high-value relationships with global system integrators, cloud providers, and technology partners that expand the company’s reach and accelerate enterprise adoption.

The VP of Partnerships will be both strategist and operator – shaping how Moderne engages the broader enterprise software ecosystem while ensuring execution of joint go-to-market initiatives. This leader will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing to align partner efforts with company objectives, and will act as a key external ambassador for Moderne’s mission to transform enterprise-scale software modernization and security.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead Moderne’s overall partnership strategy, with a focus on building relationships that expand reach and accelerate enterprise adoption.
  • Establish strategic alliances with global system integrators, cloud providers, and complementary technology vendors.
  • Develop and execute joint go-to-market initiatives, including co-selling, enablement, and co-marketing programs.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to align partner initiatives with company priorities and customer needs.
  • Represent Moderne externally as the key ambassador for its partner ecosystem at industry and partner events.
  • Build scalable systems and processes to track partnership performance and revenue contribution.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing partnerships team as Moderne continues to scale.

Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of experience in enterprise software partnerships, channel sales, or business development leadership roles.
  • Proven success building and scaling partner ecosystems that drive measurable revenue growth.
  • Experience with global system integrators, cloud providers, or major enterprise technology partnerships; Microsoft ecosystem background is a strong plus.
  • Track record of structuring and closing complex, multi-million-dollar enterprise partnerships.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure, developer platforms, DevOps, security, or data infrastructure; ability to engage credibly with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success operating in growth-stage companies with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.
  • Outstanding written, verbal communication, and interpersonal abilities, being a great storyteller in the market.
