As our Demand Generation Manager, you’ll sit at the center of growth. Reporting to the VP, Marketing, you’ll own pipeline generation and make Moderne feel inescapable to our market. We want customers & prospects saying: “I see Moderne everywhere.” This is a creative, experimental role for someone who thinks beyond the obvious and knows how to get attention from a very specific audience.

You should be in the weeds. You should have opinions about creative, targeting, formats, and budgets, and be excited to test ideas. 

Success in this role means hitting key goals like pipeline creation, lead quality, and campaign performance all while helping us stay ahead of our ambitious growth targets. If you want to own a big, high-visibility number and build demand programs that directly fuel revenue, this is the role for you.

You will not be handed a mature engine. You will help build it.

Responsibilities

Drive pipeline, not just leads

  • Own new business pipeline generated from marketing supported channels
  • Design and run programs that turn interest into real sales conversations
  • Work closely with Sales and SDRs to align on target accounts, handoffs, and feedback

Build and run demand programs

  • Plan and execute demand programs across paid and organic channels
  • Experiment with campaigns, offers, formats, and motions, then double down on what works
  • Turn events, content, product launches, and partners into pipeline generating plays

Orchestrate the full lead lifecycle

  • Partner with Marketing Ops and Product Marketing to ensure leads are routed, nurtured, and progressed effectively
  • Help define how lifecycle stages work at Moderne, from first touch through opportunity
  • Improve lead quality and conversion, not just volume

Experiment, learn, and scale

  • Run structured experiments across channels, audiences, and messaging
  • Test quickly, analyze results, and scale what works
  • Bring a practical test and learn mindset to everything from paid spend to campaign design

Measure what matters

  • Track performance against pipeline, opportunity creation, and conversion metrics
  • Work with Marketing Ops to build clear attribution and reporting
  • Use data to prioritize effort and show impact

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in demand generation or growth marketing for SaaS
  • You focus on outcomes and use data to track performance and optimize campaigns.
  • You take initiative, love testing and learning, and aren’t afraid to take risks if they’re measurable.
  • You work well with others but don’t need hand-holding to get things done.
  • Strong communication is required
  • You’re creative and think outside the box. We’re building a standout product, so your campaigns need to stand out too.
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce and a marketing automation platform such as MCAE or Pardot

Bonus points if you:

  • Experience marketing developer tools or highly technical products
  • Familiarity with long buying cycles and technical buyers
